Privacy Policy

How Elevate Goods collects, uses, shares, and protects the information of customers, suppliers, and visitors.

1. Introduction

Elevate Goods ("Elevate", "we", "us", or "our") operates an ecommerce platform that sells consumer products to end customers in the United States and partners with domestic and international suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website, mobile experiences, customer accounts, supplier portal, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

2. Who this policy applies to

This policy covers three main groups: (a) Customers who browse our site, create accounts, or place orders; (b) Suppliers, vendors, brands, and prep-center partners who apply to work with us, onboard through our supplier portal, or transact with Elevate; and (c) Visitors who interact with our site, marketing emails, or customer-support channels without creating an account. Where a section is specific to one group, we say so explicitly.

3. Information we collect from customers

When you create an account or place an order we collect: full name, billing and shipping addresses, email, phone, order history, product preferences, returns and refund records, customer-service communications, and limited payment metadata (such as card brand and last four digits). Full card numbers are entered directly into our PCI-compliant payment processor and are never stored on Elevate servers.

4. Information we collect from suppliers and partners

When you apply to become a supplier or use the supplier portal we collect: company legal name, DBA, business address, EIN or tax ID, W-9/W-8 forms, banking details for payouts (ACH/wire), authorized contact names, emails and phone numbers, product catalogs, pricing, certifications, insurance documents, compliance attestations, and the contents of messages exchanged with our merchandising, finance, and logistics teams.

5. Information collected automatically

We and our analytics providers automatically collect device identifiers, IP address, browser type, language, referring/exit pages, pages viewed, clickstream, session duration, and similar telemetry through cookies, pixels, SDKs, and server logs. This information helps us operate the site, secure accounts, prevent fraud, measure marketing performance, and improve product discovery.

6. Information from third parties

We may receive information about you from payment processors, fraud-prevention vendors, shipping carriers, identity-verification services, marketing partners, social-login providers, and publicly available sources. For suppliers, we may also receive references, sanctions/PEP screening results, and credit data from business-information bureaus.

7. How we use information

We use personal information to: (a) create and manage customer and supplier accounts; (b) process orders, payments, payouts, and tax reporting; (c) fulfill, ship, and deliver products, including FBA and prep-center workflows; (d) provide customer support and handle returns, refunds, and warranty claims; (e) detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; (f) comply with legal, tax, customs, and regulatory obligations; (g) personalize the storefront and recommend products; (h) send transactional messages and, with your consent where required, marketing communications; and (i) analyze, improve, and develop new features and services.

8. Legal bases for processing

Where required by law (for example under EU/UK GDPR for EEA-based suppliers), we process personal data based on: performance of a contract (e.g. fulfilling your order or supplier agreement), our legitimate interests (e.g. securing the platform, preventing fraud, improving the Services), your consent (e.g. marketing emails, non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations (e.g. tax, anti-money-laundering, sanctions screening).

9. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the business: with payment processors and fraud vendors; with shipping carriers, 3PLs, prep centers, and Amazon FBA when fulfilling orders; with suppliers when relaying order or returns data tied to their products; with professional advisors (auditors, lawyers, accountants); with government authorities when legally required; and with acquirers or investors in connection with a financing, merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We do not sell personal information for monetary value, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising without offering an opt-out where required by law.

10. International transfers

Elevate is based in the United States. If you access the Services or supply us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US and other countries that may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

11. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to meet our legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Order, invoice, and supplier-payout records are typically retained for at least seven (7) years to comply with US tax and recordkeeping rules. Inactive marketing contacts are deleted or anonymized on a rolling basis.

12. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain uses (including targeted advertising and "sales" or "sharing" as defined under California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Texas and similar state laws), and to appeal a denial of a rights request. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@elevatetradeworks.com. We will verify your identity before responding and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

13. Cookies and tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure the cart and checkout. With your consent (where required), we also use analytics and advertising cookies. You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, your browser settings, and Global Privacy Control signals, which we honor as an opt-out of sale/sharing for residents of states that recognize it.

14. Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive fields, least-privilege access controls, audit logging, role-based access for the internal app, and regular vulnerability scans. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; you are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.

15. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in jurisdictions where that is the threshold). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@elevatetradeworks.com and we will delete it.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a prominent notice on the Services before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date below indicates when the policy was last revised.
